Greater Works Christian School Employment for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 School Year

Greater Works Christian School has immediate openings for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school year. The candidates will be personable, organized, flexible, and passionate about providing Christ-centered academics. The candidates should foster and facilitate our students’ intellectual, social, and spiritual development.

Process:

Responsibilities:

1. Create and follow lesson plans
2. Implement effective teaching strategies to engage students in the learning process
3. Adapt instructional materials and methods to meet the needs of individual students
4. Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment
5. Manage student behavior and enforce school policies
6. Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to ensure continuity of instruction
7. Provide feedback to the administration regarding student progress and behavior

Experience:

1. Experience working with students in an educational setting
2. Familiarity with curriculum development and instructional techniques
3. Experience tutoring or providing one-on-one support to students
4. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
5. Understanding of childhood development stages and milestones
6. Proficiency in behavior management techniques

Skills:

1.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
2. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
3. Patience and empathy when working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
4. Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and routines
5. Flexibility in handling unexpected changes or challenges
