Mrs. Lisa Knupp
Dear Kindergarten Parents,
Greetings! My name is Lisa Knupp; I am pleased to be your kindergarten teacher! I look forward to this upcoming school year at Greater Works Christian School. I am a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, with degrees in Special Education, Child Development, and Family Relations. This will be my 24th year of teaching Kindergarten, which 19 of them where in a Christian school.
I have been married for over twenty years to my wonderful husband, Alan. We have three children. Our oldest son, Tyler, will entering into his sophomore year in college. Our youngest son, Logan, will be a senior in high school, and our daughter, Alia, will be in the sixth grade, here at GWCS. We have been blessed to have all of our children in the Christian education system their whole lives. Our family attends Amplify Church in Plum, PA.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, biking, and taking my dog, Gracie, for walks. We are also huge Pitt fans who enjoy attending football and basketball games. It is not uncommon to run into me while shopping at the thrift stores.
I love teaching kindergarten! My mission is to help children discover the joy of learning at this early age. I also have a passion for planting the Word of God into these precious souls. One of my favorite Bible verses as a teacher is Ephesians 2:10, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Together we can make this year the best experience possible for your child. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
