PITTSBURGH CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS | THREES PROGRAM- 8TH GRADE
Values Based Education
Hello! My name is Deborah Kepple Noh and I am the English and History teacher for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. I am so excited for this opportunity to be a part of the ministry of Greater Works Christian School! I received my Master of Arts degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language/Intercultural Studies from Columbia International University in Columbia, SC. I also had the wonderful opportunity to spend a year teaching English to middle school students in South Korea. During this time, I was able to not only sharpen my teaching skills, but I was also able to have the experience of working with teachers and students of another culture.
I believe that education from a Christian worldview with educators that desire for children to grow both academically and spiritually is so important. In fact, I accepted Christ as my Savior while attending a Christian elementary school. I grew up not far from here in New Alexandria, PA. Also, I recently got married and currently live in Greensburg with my husband. I enjoy various kinds of music, but worship music is my favorite! I also enjoy learning about other languages and cultures, especially anything related to missions and the work being done for God’s kingdom around the world.
One of my favorite verses is Ephesians 2:8, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” I am so thankful for God’s grace in my life and I desire to reflect this grace in my classroom.
I am looking forward to meeting you and working with your children to help them grow not only academically, but in their walk with the Lord as well.
